What We Cut
Ethnic wear is not confined to one people, and neither is fine tailoring.
We have cut kanduras for Emirati families and sherwanis for grooms across the region since 1975, from our workshop in Al Karama. The vocabulary changes; the standard does not.
Sherwani
Structured, hand-canvassed sherwanis for grooms and celebration, with the drape a rented one never has.
Kandura & Thobe
The everyday and the formal kandura (kandoora or thobe), cut clean at the shoulder and collar, in cottons that breathe in Gulf heat.
Jodhpuri & Bandhgala
The closed-neck jacket, cut with a suit-maker's canvas so it holds a sharp line through a long evening.
Bundi & Waistcoats

Traditional wear lives or dies on its cloth and its finish. We source ceremonial silks and brocades alongside the English and Italian wools in our fabric collection, and keep embellishment restrained and hand-applied. For weddings, we coordinate the groom’s sherwani with the wider party through our wedding & occasion service.
